A concert series curated by the renowned Tony Award-winning composer, lyricist, conductor, and director, Jason Robert Brown. Each unique performance will incorporate an eclectic mix of material, featuring music from throughout his acclaimed career, along with new works in development.

JASON ROBERT BROWN is the three-time Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist of Songs for a New World (1995), Parade (1998), The Last Five Years (2002), 13 (2008), The Bridges of Madison County (2013) and Honeymoon In Vegas (2014). His shows are regularly performed on stages across the world, and his songs are regularly heard on television, film and recordings. Jason has recorded several albums, featuring his band The Caucasian Rhythm Kings, and is much in demand as a pianist, singer and conductor. ARIANA DEBOSE is a Tony-nominated actress known for her varying roles on stage as well as on screen. DeBose is perhaps best known for her role as “Disco Donna” in Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, which earned her a 2018 Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. For the same role, she was nominated for a Drama League Award for “Distinguished Performance” and won a Chita Rivera Award for “Outstanding Female Dancer in a Broadway Show.”

Currently, DeBose is in production on the highly anticipated reimagining of the Academy Award-winning musical WEST SIDE STORY. DeBose was chosen from thousands of actresses to portray the iconic role of Anita, which earned Rita Moreno an Oscar in 1962. The film is directed by the legendary Steven Spielberg and will be released by Fox in December 2020. In 2015, DeBose appeared alongside Lin-Manuel Miranda in the groundbreaking, Tony-winning musical Hamilton as a member of the original cast in both Broadway and Off-Broadway productions. After her departure from Hamilton in 2016, she completed a run as Jane in the original Broadway cast of A Bronx Tale.

Her additional theater credits include: Leading Player in the Tony Award-winning revival of Pippin, Mary Wilson of the Supremes in Motown The Musical, Nautica in Andy Blankenbuehler’s Bring It On: The Musical and ensemble in Stephen Sondheim's Company. Other credits include: The Breaks (VH1), Blue Bloods (CBS), OLTL’s Star Crossed Lovers Series and Season 6 of So You Think You Can Dance (FOX), where she was a top-20 finalist.

Chicago-born, LA-based SARA NIEMIETZ is a musical storyteller. Sara’s first concert experience was a BJ Thomas show in Illinois, where BJ saw the then four year-old singing along with him in the audience. He invited her to join him on the stage, and sparked a life-long love of performance.

From starring on Broadway and singing at the Grand Ole Opry to touring in over thirty countries with Postmodern Jukebox, Sara has spent years in studios and on stages. Her theatre career began when she starred in Carol Burnett’s Hollywood Arms under the direction of Hal Prince. She has gone on to work with Jason Robert Brown in the musical 13 in Los Angeles and to star in Enter Laughing at The Wallis. Her videos on YouTube have garnered over 26 million views. After listening to Sara sing online, Ellen DeGeneres invited her to perform on The Ellen Show and share her music.

Sara’s most recent album, Get Right, is a collaboration with Emmy- winning composer, Snuffy Walden, with whom she often performs. Drawing inspiration from the organic warmth of old jazz records, and the vibrancy of time spent on the road, Sara writes songs, plays guitar, and shares her unique voice in live shows across the world.

In Spring 2019, she embarked on her second solo European Tour. Most recently, Sara’s original music appeared in Queen Sugar and she guest-starred on The Arrangement as a featured vocalist.
