Gallery Media Group, a media holding company comprised of digital media brands PureWow and ONE37pm; a podcast company; a portfolio of 30+ Instagram brands and an influencer marketing arm.
Harwood founded PureWow in 2010, a digital media site dedicated to making a woman's life more beautiful, manageable and efficient. Under Harwood’s leadership, PureWow grew to become a top digital publisher for women, and he built a culture grounded in kindness, empathy, and passion with an unprecedented employee retention rate. Harwood steered the ship through a highly successful acquisition by Gary Vaynerchuk and Steve Ross in January 2017, and Gallery Media Group was formed.
Harwood's role transitioned to CEO of GMG, where he seeks to build out and/or acquire other media properties to target readers in diverse demographic groups. In June 2018, GMG launched ONE37pm, a men's lifestyle brand at the intersection of culture, style, music and sports, through the lens of entrepreneurship. GMG's other assets include The Gallery Instagram Portfolio; influencer marketing arms The Coterie & The Roster; and Gallery Podcast Co., with shows including Mom Brain, Long Story Short, The GaryVee Audio Experience, Royally Obsessed and The CMO Podcast.
Harwood is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He was a two-time captain of the men’s varsity tennis team at Penn and also played professional tennis during the 2003-2004 season.
